Each week is centered around a certain topic so the program is the same for both days. You're welcome to come both days (space permitting) or whichever one works best for your schedule.
Cherokee County Public Library recently acquired RSR toolkits that will be available for use at the library and eventually will be circulated. The Reimagining School Readiness Toolkit is a suite of research-backed resources created for library staff to help families prepare children ages 0 to 8 for success in school and in life. Reimagining School Readiness focuses on key aspects of development: quality adult-child interactions, social skills, math and science learning, executive functions, stress, and growth mindset.
This summer we will hold special storytimes that will incorporate the RSR toolkits. If you attend two RSR storytimes you will be eligible to receive a take-home toolkit for your child’s age range. You must preregister for this event at http://aplsalsandbox.beanstack.org . Directions are attached for sign up. Call the library for more info.
Fall Storyime resumes September 12.
Spring and Fall Storytime meets Tuesday and Thursday at 9:30 AM. Remember space is limited and you must reserve a spot to attend. Call 256-927-5838 or PM us on FB to make reservations. Reservations may not be made more than a week in advance.
***For the safety of all patrons and library workers - If you or your child have been sick or have been exposed to someone who is sick please do not attend Storytime that week.
